The short answer
Install IBO Player, Smart IPTV or SS IPTV from your TV’s app store, send us the MAC address the app shows, and we attach your Sonixa IPTV playlist to it. Restart the app and the channels appear. No stick, no box, no computer.
Why Smart TV apps use a MAC address
Typing a 90-character playlist link with a TV remote is miserable. So most Samsung and LG players identify your TV by its MAC address — a hardware ID shown inside the app — and let the playlist be added to that ID from outside. You send us the MAC; we link your Sonixa IPTV line; the TV downloads it.
Which app to install
| App | Samsung | LG | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| IBO Player | Yes | Yes | Modern layout, films and series sections, EPG |
| Smart IPTV | Older models | Yes | Simple, very light, live TV focused |
| SS IPTV | Yes | Yes | Free, playlist added by code |
Several of these apps offer their own free period and then ask for a small one-time activation fee paid to the app maker. That fee is separate from your Sonixa IPTV plan.
Samsung (Tizen) step by step
- Press Home, open Apps and search for IBO Player.
- Install and open it. Write down the MAC address and the device key on the first screen, or take a photo.
- Send the photo to us on WhatsApp with the word “Samsung”.
- When we confirm, close the app completely and open it again. The Sonixa IPTV playlist loads.
LG (webOS) step by step
- Press Home, open the LG Content Store and search for IBO Player or Smart IPTV.
- Install and open it; the MAC address is shown on the start screen.
- Send it to us and restart the app when we confirm.
Getting a stable picture on a TV app
- Use the LAN port. Built-in TV Wi-Fi is often weaker than a stick’s. A cable from the router solves most freezes.
- Pick FHD over 4K on slow evenings. Most Sonixa IPTV channels exist in several qualities.
- Restart the TV fully once a week: hold the power button until the logo appears, rather than using standby.
If your TV is older than about 2018 or the store has no IPTV player, a Fire TV Stick is the cheaper fix — see installing Sonixa IPTV on Firestick.
