The short answer
Open IPTV Smarters Pro, choose “Login with Xtream Codes API”, and fill in the three fields from your Sonixa IPTV message: server URL, username, password. The name field can be anything. Live TV, films, series and the guide then load into separate sections.

Smarters also offers “Load your playlist or file/URL”. That works with your M3U link, but the Xtream login is better: it loads faster, keeps films and series apart and fills the TV guide on its own.
Where to get Smarters on each device
- Android phones, tablets and Android TV: Google Play Store.
- Fire TV: install with Downloader — see the Firestick guide.
- iPhone, iPad, Apple TV: the App Store version is called IPTV Smarters Player Lite in some countries.
- Windows and Mac: the desktop version from the developer’s site.
Settings worth changing on day one
- Player: Settings → Player selection. Keep the built-in player; try the VLC option only if a channel shows audio without picture.
- EPG: Settings → EPG timeshift if the guide is an hour off after a clock change.
- Parental control: set a PIN and lock the adult categories if children use the device.
- Categories: hide countries you never watch so the live list opens instantly.
- Multi-screen: Smarters can show up to four channels at once — each uses a connection.
Catch-up and the TV guide
Channels with a clock icon in Smarters support catch-up. Open the channel, choose Catch up, and pick a programme from the last few days. If the guide is empty, run Settings → Refresh EPG once; it can take a few minutes on the first load.
Error messages and what they mean
- “Invalid username or password” — a typing error, or the line has expired. Paste the details again.
- “Unable to connect” / timeout — check the URL includes the port; restart your router.
- Channel shows black screen — try the HD copy of the same channel, then tell us its name.
Frequently asked questions
Sonixa IPTV does not have its own app. Smarters is a player that works with your Sonixa IPTV login, as do TiviMate, IBO Player and many others.
Yes. Install it on all of them with the same login. One connection plays on one screen at a time.
They appear only with the Xtream Codes login. If you added the M3U link, remove the profile and sign in with Xtream Codes instead.
The app is free on most platforms. Some versions show a small notice or offer a paid upgrade; your Sonixa IPTV plan does not include it.
